- Holding a Date – Fosters will hold a tentative date up to 5 days. We will take additional tentative holds for the same date in the order in which they are received.
- Deposits and payments - a 50% deposit will be required to book an event. The balance will be charged on the day of the event.
- Cancelation Policy – Once confirmed, if an event date booking is cancelled the following fees apply payable to Fosters:
- 91 or more days prior to the event = twenty five (25%) of anticipated booking
- 90 – 61 days prior to event date = fifty percent (50%) of anticipated booking
- 60-31 days prior to event date = seventy five percent (75%) of anticipated booking
- 30 days or less prior to event = one hundred (100%) of anticipated booking
- Fosters will invoice the client directly for the facility fee, bar services and any food services purchased through Fosters. If an outside preferred caterer is contracted for the food service then they will contract that portion of the event with the client.
- All caterers must be on the preferred caterers list and have a copy of their current insurance certificate and business license on file with Fosters.
- All caters must submit a standard form with the pertinent information for each event. Fosters will provide the form for the caterer.
- Fosters will provide a sweep cleaning by an outside professional service prior to each event. The caterer is required to clean the venue at the end of their event and leave it in the same condition as they found it. If any additional cleaning is required, a cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to caterer.
- All set up and clean up must be done during contracted event times
- National Harbor noise ordinance requires that all music must end by 10:00 pm.
- No alcoholic beverages may be brought onto or away from the premises. All alcoholic beverages will be sold and served by Foster’s.
